We firmly believe in not taking any chances. That’s why we’ve introduced measures to monitor the current status of all our residents, including examination of their medical and travel history to rule out any possibilities.

BEST-IN-CLASS PROPERTY HYGIENE PROCESSES
First and foremost, we’ve adopted thorough hygiene processes over and above our usual protocol. From regular disinfection to the provision of sanitisers, only the very best practices are employed to prevent the manifestation of the novel coronavirus in our residences.
- Regular Residence Sanitisation - Increased Level of Cleanliness / Hygiene
- Appropriate checks for students – Appropriate checks for students – All students are asked to complete health check forms and undergo a temperature check upon entering the hostel. We ask for your kind cooperation to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
- Sanitisers Placed at Multiple Areas- Disinfection kits are stationed in public areas, in front of elevators, in front of the entrance to other facilities to allow our students to easily sanitize their hands.
- Protective Barriers – Staff are required to wear face mask/face shields and depending on the situation, staff will wear plastic gloves to ensure the health and safety of students and employees. Clear protective barriers are placed in between students and staff at the front desk to prevent droplet infection.
COVID-PROOF DAILY OPERATIONS
It sounds counterintuitive to our usual encouragement of human interaction, but we’ve introduced strict no to minimal contact practices in all common areas to nullify even the slightest possibility of transmission.
All kitchen staff follow strict food preparation and cooking hygiene standards and wear masks, gloves and hats to enhance food safety.
In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, students and other associates are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.
Kitchen & Service
Students should not share dishes, drinking glasses, cups, or eating utensils. All cooking items will be washed with dish soap and hot water. Students are to bring their own utensils.

Student Guidelines for Covid at Campus Students Communities
Things Student Should Do / Prevention
Wash your hands/ sanitize
Hand wash/ Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance gate, so that every person must sanitize their hands before entering the hostel.
Ware a face mask
Wearing the mask is compulsory for everyone entering and leaving hostel premises. No entry will be given to persons without facemasks.
Maintain hygienic condition
Students will maintain the hygienic condition and take the necessary care while they share common washrooms, and dining facilities and follow the instructions/ notices/ protocols in the hostel.
Cooperate with Staffs
Students should wear the University Identity card while entering the hostel. A Security guard or staff at the entrance gate will do a temperature check of all people entering the hostel. Students having fever will not be allowed to enter the hostel. All the student residents entering the hostel should cooperate with this mandatory temperature screening.
Things Student Shouldn't Do
Avoid Unnecessary Gatherings
Unnecessary gatherings inside and outside the rooms of the hostel will be avoided. Students must avoid going in other rooms and also maintaining social distance as described by govt. health authorities.
Ordering Outside Food
Ordering food from outside should be discouraged, however if outside food or and other material is ordered it should be prepaid to avoid cash on delivery.Sharing of food or snacks among the students should be avoided.
Students and visitors are suggested not to touch any railings wherever possible and have to carry their own sanitizers for use when needed.
Boarding an elevator
Users must try not to face any other user inside an elevator and the number of users boarding an elevator must be restricted based on its size.

Our residents, as always, are our responsibility. While many have gone back home, for those who have stayed, we are doing everything within our jurisdiction to ensure life is as close to being normal as possible.
